Extension of the Movement at the Affection of the Shoulder Girdle

Except typical pains, which we meet at the affection of the shoulder girdle, the second basic symptoms of the affection of the shoulder girdle are two pathological findings during the examination of an extension of a complex movement in the area of the shoulder girdle.

  1. A restriction of the extension of complex movements

  2. An abrupt of physiological gracefulness of the movement for example in a form of

a present synkinesis of the scapula (at a damage of the glenohumeral articulation)

a sticking out of the scapula (a dysfunction of scapular muscles, f. e. at disorders of an innervation of scapular muscularity)

hypermotility of joints

If we meet pathology of complex movements of the shoulder girdle, it is the question of its structures, and subsequently it is necessary to determine exactly these structures. An entrance examination of complex movements of the shoulder belongs to the examinations which cannot be forgotten. In the case of a normal finding, it mostly deals with less serious affections of the shoulder girdle, or with affections without any relation to the shoulder girdle. At patients we mostly meet, in the case of the affection of the shoulder girdle, above mentioned symptoms all at once.
