Commentary

We repeatedly tried to destroy the calcification of the rotator cuff, and eventually to reduce its soresness by targetable steroid peritendinous injections. Unfortunately we did not achieve good results with this therapy. Therefore we consider the steroid peritendinous injections into the calcification of the rotator cuff as needless, ineffective, and we withdraw them. Perhaps only an operation can bring a solution. But this performance can be done only if we are sure that the calcification is really the originator of the problems.
