Pathology of the Tendon of the Long Head of the Biceps

A tendon of the long head of the biceps is one of the most important structures participating in the movements in the shoulder joint. Pathology can affect this tendon in its course. There are two causes of an origin of problems:

1. A trauma of the tendon of the long head of the biceps

2. An inflammation of the tendon of the long head of the biceps
