Device Examining Methods

In this chapter we try to make a brief description of advantages and disadvantages of particular methods. It is not possible to make a qualitative diagnostics in the area of the shoulder girdle without qualitative examining methods. But financial  demands, of course, limit an accessibility  of these methods for our patients. Therefore we are convinced that the only possibility of the examination of the patient is the ultrasound which brings quick, valid results compared with MRI. On the other hand, X-ray of the shoulder is in essence needless. Even if we do not want to underestimate the meaning of the physical examination and anamnesis, we have to stress again that the diagnosis of the shoulder cannot be determined without the ultrasound or MRI.
