This chapter deals with some rarer diseases in the area of the shoulder girdle. It is necessary to stress that the choice of these diagnoses was only in dependence on their occurrence in our rheumatologic outpatient department. Therefore we cannot wholly judge the frequency of some diseases of which specialists of other branches take care. But this group also includes some diagnoses, and we are convinced that they do not really exist, but in technical literature or rather in medical awareness mistaken ideas exist.
