From an outline of pathologic states in the area of the long
head of the biceps we have mentioned above, the most suitable method for
differential diagnostics is the ultrasound examination which can confirm the
pathology of the long head of the biceps quite reliably with a big probability,

we examine the tendon at two levels – in the longitudinal and transversal ones
In the longitudinal
section
we examine a continuity and a structure of the tendon and its sheath
| |
In the transversal section
we examine, except the tendon, a tendinous sheath and a relation of the
tendon to the bicipital groove (dislocation)
